Following the weekend's seat swap battles on The X Factor, Simon Cowell has admitted that he made a mistake by sending Dubliner Janet Grogan home.
Grogan performed to rousing applause and received great feedback from the judges before being awarded a seat on Cowell's team, only to later lose her place to Helen Fulthorpe.
Tweeting on Sunday night, Cowell said: "I should have kept Janet. My mistake."
Grogan herself took to Twitter, thanking people for their support and promising it will not be the last fans hear from her: "Huge massive thank to every single soul who supported me throughout my @TheXFactor journey! Stick with me & I'll do you proud!" [sic]
At Cheryl's seat swap on Friday night's show, fellow Dubliner Orla Keogh's X Factor journey ended in a similar fashion with the singer's seat going to Chloe Jasmine.
I should have kept Janet. My mistake.
