The Only Way Is Essex star Lydia Bright has revealed that she is thrilled to be back on the BAFTA award-winning 'scripted' reality show.
Bright took a brief break from the show, but now she's glad to be back.
Speaking to Digital Spy, she said: "Obviously it was such a big decision to make on my return, but yeah, I'm so glad that I decided to come back. It's been so amazing.
"I had such an enjoyable series last series. I've enjoyed it so much, coming back. I missed being around everyone and the hype of being on the show. I'm glad that I left when I did because I needed my break, but I'm so glad that I'm back now."
She added: "I feel like I was never really gone. I know I was gone for quite a while, like a year and five months, but I think because I did so much that went so quickly. And then I got back and nothing really changed so it was literally as if I'd never been away. I can't really remember my year off. I'm super glad, I'm really happy."
So what was Lydia up to on her break from the show?
"There were a few things that I really wanted to do because I went on TOWIE from such a young age - I was only 18 when I started," she said:
"I never really got to do a lot of things that I wanted to do when I was younger, so I took my time out and I conquered all of those things - I went full steam ahead with my business and did some travelling and went away with my family quite a bit and did some holidays. Then I was refreshed and ready to go back and here I am."
The Only Way Is Essex returns with its Ibiza special on October 8 as part of the launch of new channel ITVBe.
