Kodaline surprised pub-goers in An Púcán, Galway, last night by playing a last-minute gig for 200 fans.

The High Hopes hitmakers played the gig, along with London Grammar and singer-songwriter Dan Croll, as part of the Guinness Amplify event.

Following the gig in Galway, Steve from Kodaline said; "We had an amazing time playing in Galway for Guinness Amplify.  Some of our most memorable first gigs were in pubs around Ireland so coming back to play in a pub venue is a nice nod to where we started out."

Also speaking about the surprise gig in his pub, publican Conall O’Ciobhain said; "It was a brilliant night here in Galway. We had no idea we’d be playing host to such amazing musical talent. The crowd were in awe and the night was very special.  It will be remembered in Galway for a long time to come."

Next stop for Guinness Amplify Live is Munster kicking off on 2nd October through to 5th October. Surprise acts are also scheduled to play a local pub somewhere in the region.

Still set to play the Guinness Amplify line-up is; Bastille, Jess Glynne, Rudimental, Kidnap Kid, George Ezra and Walking On Cars.
