George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are reported to be sparing no expense on their wedding.
The couple tie the knot this weekend in Venice with a three-day celebration and a guest list that reportedly includes a host of A-listers - including Matt Damon, US Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Brad Pitt, U2's Bono, Rande Gerber and his wife Cindy Crawford.
According to British newspaper The Mirror, George and Amal are splashing out at least €2.5m million on their nuptials.
“This is a no-expense-spared wedding to beat all weddings,” a source told the tabloid. “George knows how to party and will be putting on a great show. He wants people to be swept away.”
It’s believed Amal will be walking down the aisle in a stunning Alexander McQueen gown.
But apparently George doesn’t want to don anything elaborate as they exchange vows, opting for a more “simple, sleek” look designed by Armani.
“He doesn’t want anything fancy... just a classic, no-frills outfit,” the insider explained.
