Meryl Streep's youngest daughter, 23-year-old model Louisa Gummer, has bought an apartment in trendy Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
Gummer- who has modeled for designers such as Dior - paid $1.53 million (1.2 million Euros) for the three-bedroom apartment, near the Williamsburg Bridge, more than $200,000 over the asking price. Williamsburg is famous for artists, an indie rock inclination and a general air of hipster culture.
The 1,571-square-foot corner loft apartment has views of Continental Army Plaza, a 50-foot-wide living room and 16 windows. The building dates back to the 1920s, has 11 apartments and was recently renovated.
Gummer’s sister Mamie recently bought a two-bedroom, $1.74 million (1.36 million Euros) apartment in Chelsea.
