Soft rock legends Smokie play several dates across Ireland as part of their 40th Anniversary Tour over the next few months.
The band, who had hits in the seventies with Living Next Door To Alice and If You Think You Know How to Love Me, play The Helix, Dublin on December 29, with three more dates across Ireland in February next year. The 40th Anniversary tour also stops off at Dublin’s Vicar Street on February 15 2015.
In 1995, Smokie re-released a rather different version of Living Next Door To Alice, featuring classy comedian Roy Chubby Brown. It made number three in the UK singles chart and sold over 200,000 copies.
