Jada Pinkett Smith has joined the cast of Magic Mike XXL.
The star revealed the news on The Queen Latifah Show saying, "Yes, you know, Channing [Tatum] and Gregory [Jacobs] and Warner Bros really took a chance. There was a character written for a male that they wanted to turn into a female."
Pinkett Smith added that she will not be stripping for the Magic Mike sequel but did not disclose any further details about her role.
Magic Mike XXL also stars Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Alex Pettyfer, Joe Manganiello and Amber Heard. It is set to hit cinemas on August 7.
