Irish actress and mum-to-be Amy Huberman is to guest star in an upcoming episode of Silent Witness.

Huberman, who is married to rugby ace Brian O'Driscoll, recently announced that they are expecting their second child this November.

It has now been revealed that the 35-year-old actress, who has previously starred in several TV shows including The Clinic and Threesome, filmed a guest part for the BBC's Silent Witness during the summer and the character she played was pregnant.
Speaking about the part Huberman said: "‘I’ve actually been really lucky. I filmed something during the summer that I was actually playing a pregnant person in.

"I did an episode of Silent Witness and I was like, “What are the chances, this is perfect?”

Huberman, who is already mum to 19-month-old Saidie has also found plenty of time to catch up on her writing over the summer.

She said: "It’s been lucky that I haven’t had that much on acting-wise, it’s been a good time to write."
