John Banville, We Cut Corners, and John Sheahan of The Dubliners are among the line-up for a special Culture Night extravaganza being broadcast nationwide by RTÉ Radio 1's arts show Arena in Dublin tonight.
The three-hour special comes live from Meeting House Square in Temple Bar in Dublin’s city centre from 7.00pm this evening and is presented by Arena host Sean Rocks and John Kelly of RTÉ arts series The Works and RTÉ lyric fm.
The RTÉ Concert Orchestra and the RTÉ Contempo Quartet will also perform and there will also be music from John Sheahan, We Cut Corners, Jack L and Lisa Lambe, readings from Ciarán Hinds, Barry McGovern and Brendan Conroy, comedy from Aprés Match's Gary Cooke and Kevin Gildea and many more acts across the night.
