Michelle Dockery reckons that Downton Abbey fans are divided on the matter of her character Lady Mary Crawley's love life.
The ITV drama's fifth season will see Mary choose between Lord Gillingham (Tom Cullen) and Charles Blake (Julian Ovenden), after moving on from the death of her husband Matthew (Dan Stevens).
"People say, 'Who are you going to end up with?', and apparently there's a very strong #Blake or #Gillingham. It's pretty equal from what I've heard," she says.
"Everyone loved Matthew and that character and it's right that she doesn't move on too quickly. She doesn't want to make the wrong choice."
Dockery also said that she maintains a friendship with former co-star Stevens, adding: "Whenever I'm in New York I try to see him. I saw his play in Broadway when he was doing that."
Downton Abbey returns on Sunday, September 21.
