Zachary Quinto has revealed that the third in the current series of Star Trek movies may begin shooting soon.
The actor said on NBC's Today Show: "I think it’s on the horizon," adding that "things are rumbling, so I have a feeling that we will be in production sometime in the next six months."
The third in the current series of Star Trek movies will be the first without J.J. Abrams, who is currently filming Star Wars: Episode VII.
It is expected that Roberto Orci, who co-wrote the first two films with Alex Kurtzman and the third with Patrick McKay and J.D. Payne, will step in as director on the upcoming instalment.
