Channing Tatum has been linked to an upcoming adaptation of the best-selling book Struck by Genius.

The Magic Mike star will both produce and possibly star in the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The memoir written by Jason Padgett chronicles his experience of becoming an instant math genius at the age of 31.

He was a college dropout who was attacked outside a karaoke bar and suffered a traumatic brain injury. As he recovered, he became a math whiz who saw geometric shapes around him.

Tatum is shooting the Magic Mike sequel, Magic Mike XXL, this autumn. He can next be seen alongside Steve Carrell in the highly anticipated drama Foxcatcher this November.
