Lady Gaga wants David Bowie to join her via a live video link when she performs on a Virgin Galactic space flight next year.
The 28-year-old star, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, is keen for the Station to Station singer to duet with her.
A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''Gaga wants David to perform as she knows what a legend he is and what an amazing talking point it would be. But will he agree to do it?
''Organisers will have a fortune to throw at him. But getting him to say yes might be another matter.''
Speaking previously about her commercial Virgin Galactic trip next year, Gaga said: ''I can't wait to perform in space. I can't wait to design the performance. I'll be the first recording artist to sing in space.''
