George Clooney is set to appear in a special episode of Downton Abbey to UTV's Text Santa Charity Appeal.
The 53-year-old actor has reportedly already filmed his scenes, however the extent of his involvement is being kept under wraps and producers have also refused to share who will appear alongside him.
Text Santa is UTV's annual Christmas fundraising event, which first launched in 2011, donating 100% of proceeds to selected charities.
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini took part in a special episode of Coronation Street for last year's Text Santa, which saw £4.2 million raised in total.
