The fantastic four will be back for more magic
The fantastic four will be back for more magic

It could be called Now You Sequel Me - but Now You See Me 2 has been confirmed for a June 2016 release.

The follow-up to the highly successful heist thriller will be directed by Jon M Chu (GI Joe: Retaliation), who replaces Louis Leterrier.

Now You See Me earned $350m at the worldwide box office in 2013, a massive figure given that it had a non-blockbuster budget of $75m.

Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg and Isla Fisher are all confirmed to return for the sequel, which will see them reprise their roles as a team of four magicians.

Meanwhile, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine will also reprise their characters, making it quite a get-together for the original cast.
