While the new Terminator reboot will not reach cinemas for almost a year, the release dates for a further two instalments have been announced.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Terminator 2 is slated for a May 19, 2017 release, with Terminator 3 set to follow on June 29, 2018.
Terminator: Genisys is currently being filmed with Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his role from the original series, and Game of Thrones' Emilia Clarke, Matt Smith, Jason Clarke and Jai Courtney also starring.
It is not yet known whether Genisys director Alan Taylor is on board for the other two features.
Terminator: Genisys is set to hit the big screen on June 26, 2015.
