The opening episode of the second season of the BBC's Cillian Murphy-starring period crime drama Peaky Blinders will receive its world premiere in the show's home town, Birmingham, later this month.
Murphy and the series' writer and creator, Steven Knight, will attend the red carpet screening on the city's Broad Street on Sunday September 21.
Fans of the acclaimed show have been encouraged to dress up in "Peaky Blinder style costumes (flat cap and period themed suits, minus the razor blades!)" for the event, with premiere tickets set to be offered via www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours.
The second series of Peaky Blinders sees Murphy and co-star Helen McCrory joined by new cast members Tom Hardy and Noah Taylor.
The BBC says the second series will "see the Shelby family expand their empire South and North while maintaining a stronghold in their Birmingham heartland".
Peaky Blinders returns to BBC Two in early October.
Watch out for a Peaky Blinders interview with Cillian Murphy on RTÉ TEN in the coming weeks.
