Joan Rivers has been moved out of intensive care, her daughter Melissa revealed in a statement yesterday (September 3).
The 81-year-old star suffered a cardiac arrest on August 28 while undergoing an operation on her vocal cords, and was transported to New York City's Mount Sinai Hospital.
Melissa's statement read: "My mother has been moved out of intensive care and into a private room where she is being kept comfortable. Thank you for your continued support."
Filming on River's TV series Fashion Police has been halted. The E! network commented: "We will not be producing a Fashion Police this week or next as we await Joan and Melissa's return in front and behind the camera."
