One Direction have earned a spot in the Guinness World Records 2015 book due to their phenomenal chart success in the US.
The boybanders set a new world record after their first three albums went straight to number one in the States.
This is the first time an act has topped the US chart with their first three releases.
Niall Horan said of the news: "This really is one of our proudest moments, both for us and our incredible fans. Whenever we talk about it we always say how cool it is that we did it first, how sick is that!"
The band first topped the US charts in 2012 with their debut album Up All Night, following later in the year with Take Me Home and most recently in December 2013 with their latest album Midnight Memories.
The Guinness World Records 2015 book will be released on September 11.
