Bryan Cranston has agreed a deal with US network NBC to bring Conn and Hal Iggulden's best-selling book The Dangerous Book for Boys to the small screen.

Deadline.com reports that Cranston is among the executive producers of the single-camera comedy through his company, Moon Shot Entertainment.

Superbad director Greg Mottola is writing and directing the adaptation which tells the story of three teenage boys who are given their late father's guide to living an adventurous life.
