It has been announced that the Moves Like Jagger singer is to produce an autobiographical comedy series.
The brand new show, called Kids in America, is inspired by Adam Levine's earlier days in the music business as an up and coming singer. According to Deadline.com it will follow a teenager from a rather unconventional family who has dreams of becoming a rock star.
Family Guy's Aaron Blitzstein will write the script with Levine while Jordan Feldstein and Josh Gummersall will serve as executive producers.
This isn't the first autobiographical series Levine has worked on - a show based on his friendship with writer-producer Gene Hong and another inspired by an experience at a karaoke bar are currently in development.
