Emmett Scanlan has revealed that he will star in the second season of the BBC fantasy show Atlantis by posting a photo on Instagram.
The former Hollyoaks star posted a photo of himself and his fellow cast members in full costume.
The Dublin-born actor captioned the image: "Mythology has always been one of my favourite subjects...Getting to live it on @BBCAtlantis@BBCOne was a little special... Such a **** hot impressive production...
"Johnny Capps & Julian Murphy are wizards...And if the scripts are anything to go by, this new season will prove to be an explosion of everything you would expect and more..."
He continued: "Had a great time working with the brilliant@MrMarkAddy @RobertEmms @AiyshaHart... And of course the very funny #JackDonnelly. Last but not least, my director and old friend Laurence Gough(centre)... #Blessed #Believe."
Atlantis is set in a mythical world where the main character (Jack Donnelly) washes up on the shores of Atlantis, far away from home.
