Fargo star Allison Tolman has joined the cast of The Mindy Project.
The actress will play a recurring role in the upcoming third season of Mindy Kaling's comedy.
Tolman is set to appear in two episodes of the Fox show as a romance novelist who goes out on a terrible blind date with Peter (Adam Pally), according to TV Line.
She is best known for her role as police officer Molly Solverson in the FX reboot series Fargo.
The Mindy Project is set to return in the US on September 16.
