Frasier star David Hyde Pierce has been cast in a recurring role for the sixth season of The Good Wife.
Deadline.com reports that he will play a cable news channel's legal commentator who decides to run for office in a bid to clean up Chicago.
The Good Wife continues on RTÉ One on Thursday nights.
