Dubliner Eve Hewson is among the young stars on Variety's 10 Actors to Watch for 2014 list.
The Knick actress is set to begin filming Steven Spielberg's as-yet-untitled Cold War thriller with Tom Hanks and Amy Ryan next month.
The film is based on the true story of CIA attorney James Donovan (Hanks) who was sent to negotiate the release of American U-2 pilot Francis Gary Powers after he was shot down over Soviet airspace.
The other actors on Variety's list are: Kaitlyn Dever, Dakota Johnson, Caleb Landry Jones, Lola Kirke, Zoe Kravitz, Jack O'Connell, Tye Sheridan, Jenny Slate and Miles Teller.
The 2014 honourees will feature in the October 7 issue of Variety.
Previous honourees include Adrien Brody, Patricia Clarkson, Melissa Leo, Lupita Nyong'o and Michael Shannon.
