Eva Longoria is set to produce a new medical drama for NBC called Critical.
The former Desperate Housewives star's production company, UnbeliEVAble Entertainment, will produce the show alongside Universal TV.
According to Deadline, the show is described as "ER meets House", and will be written by Katie Lovejoy (Dracula).
The show follows a perfectionist Latina doctor who returns to her home town to take a job at a prestigious hospital. However, a secret from her past comes back to haunt her and puts the very fabric of her life in critical condition.
