Palo Alto, the feature debut of director Gia Coppola, which stars James Franco and Emma Roberts, is to receive its Irish premiere at the Fingal Film Festival on September 26.
Based on Franco's book of the same name, Palo Alto sees April (Roberts) "torn between an illicit flirtation with her soccer coach Mr B (Franco) and an unrequited crush on sweet stoner Teddy (Jack Kilmer)".
Gia Coppola is the granddaughter of legendary director Francis Ford Coppola.
The Fingal Film Festival runs from Friday September 26 to Sunday September 28 at movies@swords in The Pavilion Centre, Swords.
