EastEnders fans have been told that one of the show's most-loved characters will be left with "life-changing" injuries in the soap's upcoming fire storyline.

Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) will survive the blaze but will be badly burned, with a source telling Daily Star Sunday that her injuries "will affect her for the rest of her life".
The source added: "When she looks in the mirror she will see her burns and they will be a constant reminder of what happened on that tragic night... This is a storyline that will run and run."
