Johnny Depp has been cast in Kevin Smith's new film Yoga Hosers.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Dark Shadows actor will appear in the movie alongside his real-life daughter, Lily-Rose Depp.
Filmmaker Smith's daughter, Harley Quinn Smith, will also star in the upcoming action-adventure.
Yoga Hosers, which was written by Smith, is about two 15-year-old yoga enthusiasts, Colleen Collete (Depp) and Colleen McKenzie (Smith), who have after-school jobs at a convenience store in Manitoba.
However, the two girls have to join forces with the legendary man-hunter Guy Lapointe (Depp) when an evil rises from beneath Canada's crust and threatens their invitation to a Grade 12 party.
Yoga Hosers is described as a "comic book movie" and will also star Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Michael Parks, Genesis Rodriguez, Ralph Garman, Jennifer Schwalbach and Harley Morenstein, who appeared in Smith's last film Tusks.
New to the cast are Tony Hale, Natasha Lyonne, Austin Butler, Adam Brody, Tyler Posey and Jason Mewes.
