Irish radio presenter Mairéad Farrell is set to tie the knot with her businessman boyfriend Louis Ronan.
The excited bride-to-be announced the news on Today FM this morning, while also stating that she will be leaving the Ray D'Arcy show to move to the Ian Dempsey show as a producer.
Speaking on the Ray D'Arcy Show this morning, the mum-of-one said: "I haven't done a tap of work this morning. Myself and Louis got engaged almost two weeks ago.
"I would have laughed and told the world but he's the sensible one and he said 'let's just tell our families and relax and put our phones away'.
"[Mairead's son] Dara is the best man.
"His first question was brilliant: 'How much do you get paid for being best man?'"
She added: "I'm moving on from the Ray D'Arcy show to just 15, 16 feet away to be the producer of the Ian Dempsey show.
"It's very tough leaving here, but its been something on my mind for a while.
"Dara's growing up like a flash before my eyes. I'm able to pick him up from school every day now. I had to make a change.
"I'm really excited cause they have a brilliant team over there but I'll be really sad leaving."
