Morrison - who plays Mr. Schue in Glee - has paid $2.25 million for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment on West 28th St, New York, according to property records.

The 1,245-square-foot Manhattan apartment purchased by Morrison has spectacular views of the Hudson River and the downtown NY skyline.

Meanwhile, the actor and his fiancée Renee Puente are preparing to exchanged wedding vows, following their engagement a year ago.

Morrison has recently been filming Tulip Fever in the UK, in which he stars opposite model Cara Delevingne. Directed by Justin Chadwick, the 17th century period romance has a screenplay by Tom Stoppard, adapted from a novel by Deborah Moggach. The film will appear in cinemas next year.
