To celebrate the release of the new Disney kids' movie on August 8, director Bobs Gannaway and producer Ferrell Barron jetted into Dublin to greet excited fans.
The lads wowed the awaiting crowd by landing in a search and rescue helicopter at Airfield, a beautiful 38-acre farm and gardens in the middle of one of Dublin's busiest suburbs.
They then attended a screening of Planes 2: Fire & Rescue at Movies @ Dundrum with delighted fans.
Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh, presenter of RTÉ One's Ireland’s Search and Rescue, hosted the special event.
