The house described as the 'spiritual home' of hit BBC sitcom Gavin & Stacey has gone on the market, with a guide price of £125,000 (around €157,000).

The terraced house on Trinity Street in Barry, Wales is being sold by its owner of 30 years.

The house is a key stop on the Gavin & Stacey locations tour and has seen over 13,000 visitors pass through to see it.

Owner Glenda Kenyon told Wales Online: "Since the filming of Gavin & Stacey, I have welcomed over 13,000 visitors to the house including organised coach tours on a weekly basis.

"I will miss both the street and Barry but having lived here for over 30 years, I feel it's time for a change and plan to move to Swansea."
