ITV has announced that romance is in the air for Emmerdale character Vanessa (Michelle Hardwick) - but there's a twist.

On a night out Vanessa meets Kirin (Adam Fielding) and takes him home.
However, she soon discovers he is only 17 years of age - and is Rakesh's (Pasha Bocarie) son.
Actor Fielding said: "I am thrilled to be joining Emmerdale as Kirin. He's only 17 but he's a cool and confident guy and isn't going to let his age stop him where Vanessa is concerned."
Fielding will make his debut on August 21.
