Steve Carell has been cast in the lead role in a new, Disney live-action, family adventure-comedy.
The Office star will also produce the upcoming project, titled Brooklyn Family Robinson, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Finding Nemo co-writer David Reynolds is penning the script, which centres on a father (Carell) who takes his family away from the bustling city life of New York to start anew on a tropical island.
Carell will next appear on the big screen in Foxcatcher.
