Xena: Warrior Princess star Lucy Lawless is to appear in the second series of Marvel's Agents of SHIELD.
TVGuide.com, which broke the news of Lawless' casting, says details of her character or how long she will appear on the show have not been revealed.
The second season of Agents of SHIELD premieres in the US on Tuesday September 23.
