The second series of Fargo, the acclaimed TV adaptation of the Coen brothers' movie, will feature an all-new cast of characters, a new “true crime” story, and a new time period.
“We could not to more proud of Fargo,’” FX Networks head John Landgraf. “Noah’s [Hawley] audacious, bordering on huberistic riff on my favorite (sic) Coen brothers’ film earned 18 Emmy nominations - the most for a single program in our history.”
In the first series, Chicago comic Allison Tolman particularly impressed the critics with her portrayal of salt-of-the-earth cop Molly Solverson. The series also starred Billy Bob Thornton, Martin Freeman and Colin Hanks.
