Breaking Bad and True Detective were among the winners at the 2014 Television Critics Association Awards last night (July 19).

Hosted by Terry Crews at The Beverly Hilton in California, the ceremony saw Breaking Bad claim Program  (sic) of the Year ahead of the likes of Game of Thrones and True Detective.

But True Detective won the award for Outstanding Achievement in Movies, Miniseries and Specials, while one of its stars, Matthew McConaughey, won the Individual Achievement in Drama.

Orange Is the New Black was awarded the Outstanding New Program (sic) prize, while Veep picked up two awards: Outstanding Achievement in Comedy (for which it tied with Louie) and Individual Achievement in Comedy for the show's star Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
