RTÉ 2fm has announced the Play the Picnic finalists who will play Oxfam Ireland's Oxjam Stage at Electric Picnic from August 29-31.
In no particular order, they are: Hot Tramp (Kerry), Hare Squead (Dublin), White Chalk (Kilkenny), Little Hours (Donegal), Otherkin (Dublin), Houdini (Dublin), Kodakid (Dublin), Matt McGinn (Down), Gary Keane (Cork) and I'd Fight Ghandi (Louth).
The 10 finalists will now record their winning track in the 2fm studios, with all the songs played on air on August 9 and 10. After a public vote, the act with the most votes will also play the larger Cosby Stage at Electric Picnic and will win a studio session with RTÉ 2fm which will be broadcast on the station.
