Everyone's favourite sexagenarian grump, Larry David could return in a new series of Curb Your Enthusiasm, according to HBO President Michael Lombardo.
Lombardo says he will not rule out a new season of the sitcom which starred 67-year-old Seinfeld creator David playing a semi-fictionalised version of himself as he goes about his daily life in LA.
Ricky Gervais, Michael J Fox, Ben Stiller, Jerry Seinfeld, and Joan Rivers have all played themselves on episodes of the improvised show which ran for eight seasons on HBO and was shown in Ireland by TG4.
It was last shown in 2011 and Lombardo told reporters that David recently assured him that he has not given up on Curb Your Enthusiasm.
"I said, 'so, David, should I emotionally get Curb out of my head?' And he goes, 'No, no, no, no, no'," Lombardo revealed.
"As long as he's thinking about it, we still have a place for it."
