The Geordie Shore cast have been refused the right to film a night out in Blackpool.
Councillors in the area felt that their booze filled antics were far "too seedy" and they could potentially tarnish the reputation of the area.
Councillor Graham Cain said: "As a town which relies on tourism, we have to be careful about allowing programmes to be filmed which may show the resort in a detrimental manner."
As a result we refused the application from Lime Pictures to film Geordie Shore here."
Geordie Shore is well known for its portrayal of wild nights out and insights into the cast's intimate relationships, which have kept thousands of young fans tuned into their antics over the last eight seasons.
