Mark Wahlberg’s blockbuster brought in  $36.4 million - the equivalent of 27 million Euros - on top of its $100 million in ticket sales last weekend

This makes it the biggest opening weekend for any movie this year in the USA.

Transformers: Age of Extinction beat Tammy,  the comedy starring Melissa McCarthy as a fast-food worker and Susan Sarandon as her grandmother, which began with $21.2 million in ticket sales - a slew of negative reviews didn’t help Tammy’s position. The horror movie Deliver Us From Evil made third place this past weekend, earning $9.5 million.
