Macklemore & Ryan Lewis have paid tribute to their Irish fans by making a special video.
In the video, Macklemore, real name Ben Haggerty, talks about how they struggled to secure a gig in Ireland on their first European tour.
He says: "We were playing our first time in Europe and for some reason we could not get a show in Ireland.
"We were thought to be unknown, and in turn no promoter would book us. Eventually, a friend of a friend convinced a small little venue called The Twisted Pepper to let us perform. To our surprise it sold out almost immediately."
He continues: "I had never experienced that level of energy the Irish brought to the show . . . "
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will play at Marlay Park in Dublin on July 10.
