The BBC has confirmed that the Peter Capaldi-starring Doctor Who will return to BBC One for a new series on Saturday August 23.
The series opens for new Doctor Capaldi with a feature-length episode called Deep Breath.
He will be joined onscreen by Jenna Coleman, who plays his assistant, Clara.
