ITV has released its first teaser for the upcoming fifth season of period drama Downton Abbey.
And the indications for Julian Fellowes' Edwardian-set hit from this first trailer are ominous given the narration by Jim Carter (Carson) hints that change is coming to Downton.
Richard E. Grant, Anna Chancellor and Sue Johnston are among the new cast additions joining the series ahead its return.
Meanwhile, Michelle Dockery - who has played Lady Mary Crawley since the show began back in 2010 - has insisted that she has no plans to depart.
“I'm here till the end, whenever that may be,” she insists.
As for the show’s longevity, exec producer Gareth Neame has stated that he and show creator Fellowes “still don't know” exactly how long Downton will run.
