Gavin Glynn is a young four year old boy suffering from cancer. He has a strong celebrity following backing his campaign from Hozier, Kodaline, Síle Seoige and Vogue Williams. His family and friends are currently running a campaign to raise some much needed funds for treatment in America.
Gavin was diagnosed with a tumor called Rhabdomyosarcoma, which is a childhood cancer of the muscle. It started in his pelvic area and it is aggressively spreading. His parents have been running a campaign since October 2011 to raise money for life-saving treatment in America.
This is his last chance and so many Irish celebrities have gotten behind him.

Speaking to reporter on the Mooney Show on Radio One. Gavin's mother, Jane describes her shock at the news when they were told he was diagnosed, saying, "It was total shock, absolute shock, a very bizarre feeling. It felt like they were talking about somebody else."
The family spent two months researching and have found a Consultant in Texas that has an intense cancer treatment that could save Gavin's life.
They are currently en route to Texas as John tweeted this earlier.
