Katy Perry has launched her own record label called Metamorphosis Music.
The 29-year-old Dark Horse hitmaker announced details of her new venture by uploading a picture on Instagram.
Her label will be run in association with major label Capital Records, who represent Katy and other acts including; 5 Seconds of Summer, Sam Smith and Jennifer Lopez.
Perry's first signing to her own label is pop singer Ferras, who Perry has described as "incredibly talented & soulful".
Ferras' debut EP features Perry on a song entitled Legends Never Die. The five-track record was executive produced by Perry.
Speaking about her first signing Perry said: "Ferras is a man with a message, and a unique lyrical way of communicating his perspective on life that makes you feel connected to every note when you listen. I believe he is going to be an important artist to watch unfold."
Ferras announced his delight on Twitter and is planning on getting tattoos to celebrate.
