Pollock star Ed Harris will be making the most of his summer by learning how to surf.
The 63-year-old actor, who has been living in Malibu, California for the last 35 years, has finally decided to take advantage of his surroundings.
Speaking to Wenn, Harris said: "I'm learning how to surf with the Miller brothers, who are twin film makers I made two films with; Touching Home and Sweetwater. They're just really good guys who've never gone surfing either.
"I've been living in Malibu for 35 years and never been surfing. I've done a lot of body surfing but never on a board so that's something I'm kind of engaged with. I got up but just for not very long. We've only been at it three times and we're not any good at it yet but we're learning! It's a process, you know."
