Actor Raza Jaffrey is to play a major recurring role in the fourth season of Homeland.
Deadline.com reports that Jaffrey has been cast as Aasar Khan.
Khan is a Lieutenant Colonel in Pakistan's ISI intelligence service.
US network Showtime has said that season four will find Carrie Mathison (Claire Danes) "assigned to one of the most volatile and dangerous CIA stations in the Middle East".
