Caroline Flack has confirmed that she will not be returning as a host on the next series of The Xtra Factor after working on the show since 2011.
Flack confirmed the news on Twitter saying: "Heyyyy! After three brilliant years of hosting Xtra Factor it's time to pass the baton. It's been incredible and I'll never forget it.
"How can I when I am married to Louis Walsh? It's all he ever talks about at home. I wish the new team all the best and look forward to watching the new series."
It is rumoured that BBC Radio1 Xtra DJ Sarah Jane Crawford is set to replace Flack and co-host Matt Richardson for the next series of the show.
A source told The Mirror UK: "Simon Cowell has been bowled over by Sarah Jane, he thinks she will be brilliant."
Bray native, Laura Whitmore, is also said to be in the running to take over hosting duties.
Flack first appeared on The Xtra Factor in 2011, co-hosting with former contestant Olly Murs who was quick to post a video on Twitter looking back at their time on the show following her announcement.
